PURPOSE:To improve buckling resistance for a bending load by providing a shaft hole in a shaft part, and connecting a lead wire. CONSTITUTION:A shaft hole having an open end 8a at the lower edge of a bevel part 1c is provided in the vicinity of a cotter groove 1d in the shaft center of an exhaust valve 1. An inserting hole 10 which is communicated to the shaft hole 8 is provided at a part close to the bevel part 1c at the shaft part 1a so that the open end of the hole 10 is located lower than the lower edge of a valve guide when the valve 1 is closed. A lead-out hole 11 which is communicated to the upper end part of the shaft hole 8 is provided at the upper end part of the shaft part 1a. A lead wire 14 which is connected to a strain gage 13 is connected to a measuring instrument through the inserting hole 10, the shaft hole 8 and the lead-out hole 11. In this constitution, buckling resistance for the bending load of the shaft part can be enhanced. |
