Data of physical properties values of a material to be cooked and thermal conduction operation procedures are stored, and data of the material and heating data are input, so that a heating output of a part of the material may be calculated based on a distance between the part of the material and a predetermined reference point. A temperature rise value per unit time of the part of the material is obtained from the input data of the material and the heating output. A thermal conduction operation is carried out in accordance with the stored operation procedures with the use of the temperature rise value. <IMAGE>
