<p>PURPOSE:To prevent channelling by providing impedient layers on plural upper and lower stages with specified intervals in a chemical agent packing layer and forming impedient layers for preventing side leak in the upper stage and for equalizing the pressure loss in the lower stage. CONSTITUTION:IN the lower stage of inner part of desulfurizing agent 2 in a desulfurization tower 1, type impedient layer 6 for equalizing the pressure loss is formed in annular shape which consists of a granular body L of 4-8mm grin size in the inside and a granular body S of 2-4mm grain size in the outside. In the upper stage, on the other hand, the impedient layer 7 for preventing side leak consisting of a granular body L of 4-8mm grain size is formed along the inner wall in an annular shape with a distance between the impedient layer 6. Thus, the channelling is prevented and the gas treatment efficiency is improved.</p> |
