PURPOSE:To securely actuate a display set when it is powered on by providing a driving voltage limiting circuit which supplies a constant-limit voltage instead of the source voltage of a horizontal deflecting circuit when the source voltage is lower than a constant limit. CONSTITUTION:A driving voltage output circuit 103 controls a driving voltage ED, supplied to the primary side of a driving transformer 12, according to the output voltage of a horizontal size voltage detecting circuit 102. Further, a driving voltage control circuit 104 sets the initial value of the driving voltage ED to an initial state right after the display set is powered on. The driving voltage supplied from the driving voltage limiting circuit 104, however, is set lower than the driving voltage corresponding to the minimum value of the variation range of a horizontal deflecting current IDY. Thus, the best driving voltage ED is supplied following up variation in horizontal display size and the display set is securely actuated when powered on. |
