FIELD: chemical materials technology. SUBSTANCE: method of synthesis of lithium aluminates with general formula LiAn•2xAl(OH)•mHO, where An idand other, x is anion charge, useful as sorbents, anion exchangers, etc., is carried out at reduced temperature (25 instead of 85 C) at by 6 times shortened process duration with operations of preparing concentrated solutions of lithium salts eliminated and possible use of low- soluble lithium salts. To do this, stoichiometric mixture of components (aluminium hydroxide and corresponding lithium salt) is treated in mill-activator until individual compound is formed. Time needed for synthesis depends on mill type and, for power-supplied apparatuses, is 5-30 min on the average. EFFECT: simplified process. |
