PURPOSE:To obtain the vibrator for a vibration gyro with stable characteristics by two of piezoelectric elements formed on three flanks of a vibration body by a resistor and using them for driving and detection, and also using the remaining element for driving or detection. CONSTITUTION:The piezoelectric elements 14a, 14b, and 14c made of ceramic are formed at the center parts of the three flanks of the vibration body 12 made of elinver in the shape of a regularly triangular prism. Then a fixed resistor 24 is connected to the elements 14a and 14b to compensate the unbalance of characteristics between the elements 14a and 14b due to variance in electrostatic capacity between the element and a related shift in resonance frequency. The elements 14a and 14b are used for one driving or detection and the element 14c is used for the other driving or detection. By this constitution, the vibrator which has stable characteristics of the vibration gyro is obtained. |
