PURPOSE:To obtain a chlorine-free biaxially oriented film to be used mainly as a wrapping film for food packaging and having excellent heat-resistance, transparency, tackiness and oxygen gas barrierness. CONSTITUTION:The objective polypropylene resin composition is composed of (A) 40-98 pts.wt. of a polypropylene resin, (B) 1-30 pts.wt. of a styrene- ethylene-butylene-styrene (SEBS) block copolymer, (C) 1-30 pts.wt. of a saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (the sum of A to C is 100 pts.wt.), (D) 1-25 pts.wt. of a polyolefin resin grafted with an unsaturated carboxylic acid or its derivative, (E) 0.1-20 pts.wt. of a polybutene and (F) 0-5 pts.wt. of a tackifying assistant. The present invention also relates to a process for the production of a biaxially oriented film by using the above composition as a film-forming raw material and biaxially orienting under specific condition, a biaxially oriented film produced by the process and a food packaging material composed of the biaxially oriented film. |
