<p>FIELD: metallurgy; foundry, properly, treatment of liquid and crystallizing metals in ladles, ingot molds, etc. SUBSTANCE: method for treatment of melted slag and metal includes exposure of the melt to vibrations for 10-30 min with an amplitude of 0.5-5.0 mm to perform mixing of melt with neutral or active gases with the ratio of the power of vibration to the power of mixing by gas equalling (0.25-2.5):1 and vibration frequency is determined by the formula f-(0.95-1.05)fmn, where fmn is frequency of the melt natural vibrations; m is vibration index (m=0,1,2...),n is the number of natural vibration (n=1,2,3...). As a result of the method realization the liquid steel yield rises from 87 to 91-95%, phosphorus content reduces from 0.05 to 0.02-0.03%, and with use of active gas (mixture of argon with 30% of natural gas) the liquid steel yield amounts to 95.8% and phosphorus content to 0.018%. EFFECT: higher efficiency.</p> |
