PURPOSE:To perform optimum attitude variation even in passing on a gap by determining the difference between a squuat force and anti-squuat force based on drive force, front stroke and rear arm angle and adjusting the damping force of a damper according to the difference. CONSTITUTION:A rear suspension 5 is composed of a damper 8 and spring 9. The damper 8 comprises a piston 11 slidably inserted into a cylinder 10 and a sub-tank 19 equipped on the top of the cylinder 10. In this case, a control circuit 20 for controlling the damping force of the damper 8 is provided with an arithmetic processing section 21, driving section 22 and comparator 33. In addition, a drive force sensor 24, rear arm angle sensor 25 and front stroke sensor 26 are connected to the arithmetic processing section 21. The difference between squuat force and anti-squuat force based on each signal from the sensors 24 to 26 is calculated, and the damping force of the damper is adjusted according to the difference. |
