PURPOSE:To enable expression with delicate gradations, by suddenly heating recording liquid in the vicinity of an opening in accordance with image signals so that said recording liquid is turned into very small drops of liquid, and spraying out the same from said opening. CONSTITUTION:Recording liquid 10 at a heat energy acting section (heater) 9 provided near an opening 4 is suddenly heated in accordance with an image signal, so that the recording liquid 10 is instantaneously boiled or evaporated. Small drops of ink 13 formed as a result of the sudden heating are discharged out of the orifice (opening) 4 in mist state for recording. |
