PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a picture display system and to attain alternating, colorful and complex picture display in which continuous picture processing can be performed by overcoming slight malfunction such as inversion of data delivered between ICs without performing a measure for malfunction such as periodical reset for a extremely short period (it cannot be helped to reset a system at the time of runaway of a CPU) on the assumption that malfunction by an external noise can be hardly prevented. SOLUTION: When data indicating processing contents to registers RP0-RP7 of a video processor 3 is written, a host processor 6 generates check codes for detecting an error for each prescribed data block and adds them, and writes the check codes. After the prescribed check codes are written in the registers RP0-RP7, the video processor 3 examines whether the data has an error or not utilizing a check code added to the data block, when an error is detected, repeat is requested. |
