ELECROMAGMETIC INDUCTION HEATING COMPOSITE MATERIAL, AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extremely increase junction strength between a magnetic metal plate and an aluminum plate. SOLUTION: In forming a composite material by joining a magnetic metal plate and an aluminum plate to each other through a metal plating layer provided on one surface of each, (1) the aluminum plate is an aluminum alloy plate containing a magnesium component by less than 0.6%, and (2) each metal plating layer is formed of a nickel plating base layer and a copper plating layer applied on it. As a manufacturing method thereof, (1) an aluminum alloy plate containing a magnesium component by less than 0.6% is used as an aluminum plate, and (2) a nickel plating base layer is formed on one surface of each metal plate, a copper plating layer is formed on it, and a magnetic metal plate and the aluminum plate are joined to each other through the copper plating layer.
