PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve endurance of a battery accommodation apparatus to a shock such as dropping, by installing a second rib for forbiddening the movement of a battery cover by contact with the rib when the fitting part of the battery cover is fitted to the fitting part to be fitted to the rib of the battery cover. SOLUTION: In the vicinity of the upper end of the side surface periphery of a battery accommodation part 13, main body side ribs 4, 11 are formed. In the lower end periphery, a pawl hanging part 5 is formed. In the vicinity of the upper end part center, a trench 6 is formed. In the lower end periphery of a battery cover 2, a suspension pawl 9 engaging with the pawl hanging part 5 is formed. In the almost central part of the upper end periphery, a battery cover rib 8 having a stopper receptacle 10 to be fitted to a stopper 7 is formed. The upper end side faces of the main body side ribs 4, 11 are in contact with the face of the lower end side of the battery cover rib 8. The upper end side face of a stopper receptacle 10 is in contact with the main body 1 and the stopper 7. Therefore, the battery cover rib 8 is fixed to the main body 1 and the stopper 7 by the main body side ribs 4, 11.
