PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To excellently charge an image carrier when a bias is impressed to charge the carrier by arranging the member in contact with the image carrier of the electrophotographic photoreceptor, etc., of a picture forming device. SOLUTION: Aluminum, iron or an alloy of 2 kinds of metallic elements is formed into a hollow cylinder to constitute a supporting member 21, and the periphery is sheathed with a seamless tube 22 to form the member 2. The seamless tube 22 is formed by thermoplastic elastomer or a polymer alloy. The supporting member 21 and the sheathing member 22 as a seamless tube are combined to allow the contact-electrifying member 2 to fulfil moderate flexibility, heat resistance and semiconductivity, and further the member is easily reutilized. |
