PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a useful component from a mycelia-containing medium in a short time at a high yield. SOLUTION: A basidiomycete is inoculated on a solid medium using bagasse as a base material and mycelia are propagated, then the solid medium containing propagated mycelia is untied, and the untied solid medium is brought into contact with an enzyme solution (a) containing β-1,3-glucanase as a main component and chitinase and cellulase at 30-60 deg.C for 1-65min to dissolve the mycelium cell wall, and the resultant cell wall dissolved product-containing solution is heated up to 95 deg.C to deactivate and sterilize the enzymes. The substance obtained by this method is a cell wall decomposed substance of the basidiomycete and contains a β-glucan having excellent antitumor effect, glucose as a metabolic component of the mycelium and highly concentrated cytokinin- like substance, etc., and is expected to be used for a drinking agent, a plant hormone agent, a cosmetic raw material, etc. |
