PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the positional deviation between respective parts caused by a change in temp. by attaching a forward and backward rotating fan member for introducing air into an image forming chamber or a thermal fixing chamber, to a casing or a partition plate. SOLUTION: The inside of the casing 1 is partitioned into the image forming chamber A and the thermal fixing chamber B by the partition plate 10 and the forward and backward rotating fan member 11 for introducing the air into the image forming chamber A or the thermal fixing chamber B is attached to the partition plate 10. When the temp. in the image forming chamber A is higher than a first reference temp., the fan member 11 is rotated forward, to introduce the air in the image forming chamber A into the thermal fixing chamber B. On the other hand, when the temp. in the image forming chamber A is lower than a second reference temp., the fan member 11 is rotated backward to introduce the air in the thermal fixing chamber B into the image forming chamber A. Thus, the inside of the image forming chamber A is always kept at the temp. suitable for forming an image and the electric characteristics, etc., of each part, housed in the chamber A can be kept almost constant. |
