PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent the failure of a heating means for heating the inside of a treating vessel and the deterioration of its heating efficiency in an organic waste treating device. SOLUTION: A combustion burner 3 for heating the inside of a fermentation furnace is fixed to the fermentation furnace for drying and fermenting organic waste through a holding means 4 so that its position can be changed. The fermentation furnace is provided with an opening 91 passing through the wall surface thereof and an opening-closing cover 92 for opening and closing the opening 91. The holding means 4 is constituted so that a truck 41 for integrally holding the combustion burner 3 may be freely movably held on the upper surface of a supporting frame 42 and guided in the forward and backward direction by a guide rod 43. On heating operation, the combustion burner 3 is held by the holding means 4 in a state in which it is inserted into the opening. Except for heating operation, the combustion burner 3 is moved to outside the fermentation furnace and held by the holding means 4, and the opening 91 is closed by the opening/closing cover 92 to shut off the heating means for the atmosphere in the fermentation furnace. |
