METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR EXECUTING WORK FLOW DEFINITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to execute the activity of a work flow having hierarchy by one definition by connecting and executing activity components less than the already definied activity of an upper work flow based upon the definition information of the already defined activity. SOLUTION: Activity components each of which has a hierarchical activity defining means 10 for specifying optional hierarchical activity at the time of definition and an execution means 20 for connecting and executing hierarchies less than the activity specified by the means 10 are included in each work flow. The means 10 includes an activity specifying means for sepecifying an activity name of an optional hierarchy to an optional activity component in the uppermost work flow. Activity components less than the already defined activity of the upper hierarchal work flow are connected and executed based upon the definition information of the already defined activity.
