摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve voltage retention and life reliability, to solve problem that leak current is generated by invasion of oblique light etc., and unevenness is generated by orientation difference owing to level difference in shape and etc., thereby to provide a liquid crystal display element attaching uniform display and high brightness display in an element panel constituted by forming a black resist on a thin film transistor forming substrate. SOLUTION: A black resist material is polymerized by light and heat and polymerization is caused by light of <=420nm wave length. Specific resistance of the black resist after curing is made to >=1&times;10<11> &Omega;cm. The resin material is incorporated with an ion adsorptive inorganic substance. Light absorbing layers 5 are disposed on the thin film transistor forming substrate 1. The light absorbing layers 5 having thickness of >=10 times of panel thickness and transparent bodies 8 having 1.3 to 1.7 refractive index at used ambient temp. are disposed to prevent generation of leak current. orientation unevenness is eliminated by using a thermoplastic polymer having shape memory property.
