PREPARATION OF POLYMERIZED SHEET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polymerized sheet with no fluctuation of refraction by performing cast polymn. in a closed space surrounded by a plane part consisting of glass plates which a polymer film is sticked on or a polymer is applied on and a packing part consisting of a flexible tube. SOLUTION: A plane part is prepd. by coating a reinforced glass sheet with a coating material prepd. by dissolving polyvinyl chloride in tetrahydrofuran. A packing part consisting of a flexible tube is placed between the plane parts to press and fix them by means of a squill vice so as to make the thickness of the space part in the polymn. container to be approximately 5mm to prepare a container for a polymerized sheet and a stock soln. for the polymerized sheet is cast in the polymn. container to polymerize it in hot water. Fluctuation of refraction is not generated in this polymerized sheet.
