PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the machining cost by suppressing the geometric distortion of the machining dimensions by the initial wear of a cutting tool to reduce the labor in the process control during the cutting work and suppress incidence of defective products. SOLUTION: A machining face part 16e formed in the prescribed forming width (k) from an end cutting edge 16a is formed on a front flank 16c formed on a blade part of a cutting tool 16. The angle of inclination of the machining face part 16e is set so as to be a negative angleθrelative to the front clearanceΦof the front flank 16c. By forming the machining face part 16e, the initial wear of the cutting tool is remarkably reduced to suppress the change in the machining dimensions.
