PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery having a higher capacity and higher stability by incorporating ethylene carbonate and propylene carbonate into an organic electrolyte. SOLUTION: In a nonaqueous secondary battery, graphite particles deposited at the surfaces thereof with amorphous carbon are used as active substance for a negative electrode 11, and further, an organic electrolyte containing ethylene carbonate and propylene carbonate is used. The graphite particle has an average spacing (d002) on a (002) plane of 0.335-0.340nm, a crystal thickness (Lc) in the (002) plane direction of 10nm or more and a crystal thickness (La) in a (110) plane direction of 10nm or more by an Xray wide-angle diffraction method. |
