PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the packaging density and the work efficiency by providing the pulling-out extra-length, which allows a movement with respect to the coated optical fiber holding means of the main body, to each coated optical fiber that is connected to the optical connector for a branching connection. SOLUTION: In order to conduct the switching work of an MT connector 31 of an optical branching module 21, a fastner 36 is operated so that the module 21 is made possible to be pulled out against a frame 20 and then, pull out the fastener 36 toward the back side so as to pull out the module 21. Then, the pulled out module 21 is opened on a prescribed workbench, the connector 31 is pulled out from the inside and the switching is made by a CATS (an optical fiber switching connection system). At that time, a pulling-out extra- length F2 is pulled out from a pulling-out extra-length holding section 28 for a proper length with the movement of the module 21. Thus, only a desired module 21 is individually pulled out. |
