PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer, which is small in size and easy in maintenance and further can protect data, in a multifunctional printer equipped with a receipt printing function and a journal printing function. SOLUTION: On a lower housing 31, a receipt printer 70 and a journal printer 60 respectively equipped with upper housings 71 and 61 are installed under the condition that the upper housings 71 and 61 are mounted to the lower housing 31 so as to pivot about the rear part 6d of the journal printer 60 opposite to the receipt printer 70. Since the upper housing 71 for the receipt printer pivots to above the journal printer 60, a wide region can be ensured above the receipt printer 70 having higher maintenance and change frequency of machine glazed paper. Further, the upper housing 61 for the journal printer is fixed to the lower housing 31 by means of a locking mechanism 81, resulting in allowing to prevent the wrong operation during maintenance from occurring. |
