PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an original scanning travelling body driving and controlling method where an ill effect such as magnifying power errors, etc., is prevented from occurring by executing control without a speed deviation concerning an original scanning travelling body. SOLUTION: Feed-back control is executed so as to permit the travelling speed v(i-1) of the, original scanning travelling body to be target speed R(i) at the time of reading an original based on the detection result of a motion speed detecting means in the original scanning travelling body driving and controlling method. In this method, the average value of the travelling speed of the original scanning travelling body is obtained before reading the original, a correcting coefficient Vcorrec is decided by a ratio between the average value and the target speed of the original scanning travelling body and travelling speed v(i-1)to be fed-back is corrected based on the correction coefficient Vcorrec so that feed-back control is executed in a state where the speed deviation caused by regular friction force and difference in a control system is added and control without the speed deviation is executed. |
