摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum container capable of measuring a getter by forming a getter film at least astride two adjacent wirings within multiple wirings formed in the vacuum container having the vacuum maintaining getter. SOLUTION: Multiple anode patterns 17 are formed on a back plate 11, then getter measuring stripe electrodes 16 are generated by vacuum deposition at the prescribed position to the outside of a vacuum container from the inside of the vacuum container where a getter 14 is flashed. The portions of the back plate 11 where a shielding plate 15 connected with the getter 14, an outer frame 13, and a faceplate 12 are to be stuck are coated with frit glass in advance, and the back plate 11 is put in an electric furnace. The electric furnace is heated to the sealing heat treatment temperature of the frit glass, then it is gradually cooled back to the room temperature, and the getter 14 is flashed at a proper time after the heat treatment to complete a fluorescent character display device. The degree of vacuum can be estimated and the life of the getter 14 can be measured from the measured value of the resistance value of the getter 14.</p>
