PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To weld the spheroidal graphite cast iron with using same metal welding material at a relatively low preheating temp. SOLUTION: The welding material has a composition consisting of, by weight, 3.3-5.2% C, 2.7-6% Si, 0.01-0.2% Mg, 0.005-0.5% Al, 0.001-0.08% Ca, further, one or two kinds among 0.005-0.15% REM, 0.001-0.2% Bi and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities. The spheroidal graphite cast iron is welded well without generating crack, etc., with using same metal welding material at a low preheating temp., repair welding and welding for structure of spheroidal graphite cast iron are made possible. |
