PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily take in data related to a schedule managed at an operation mode except for a schedule mode as schedule data of a corresponding date so as to register it in the electronic equipment of an information terminal registering and managing various data. SOLUTION: When a character string suggesting the date on a mail contained in mail data is pen-touched and designated in a state where mail data received through a communication unit 16 is stored in a reception data register in RAM 18 and is displayed in a touch panel 14, it is judged whether the time elements 'today', 'tomorrow', 'what day of the next week' and 'what date of the next month' exist or not in the character string. When the pertinent time element exists, the date on the mail is specified from the time elements based on the present date obtained based on a clock signal from a clock unit 15, the schedule mode is started and it is directly taken in as schedule data of the corresponding date and it is displayed. |
