PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector having a simplified ZIF(zero-insertion-force) mechanism. SOLUTION: A connection shaft 16 is connected to an insulator 12 in each connector unit 10, and a cam groove 17 is formed in an insulator cover 14. The connection shaft 16 has a connection pin 16a installed to be movable along a groove part 12a. The connection shaft 16 has a groove part 16b extended in a specified direction, an operation lever 18 has a pin (protrusion) 18a inserted into this groove part 16b, and the operation lever is rotatably supported about a support point 19a at a different position from a protrusion 18a formed position. By rotating the operation lever 18 to move the connection shaft 16, the connection pin 16a moves along the groove part 16b and the cam groove 17 as the connection shaft 16 moves, so the insulator cover 14 is moved by the cam groove 17 to engage/remove the connector unit 10. |
