摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blast furnace tuyere ring that does not less subject to ash penetration and erosion accompanying injection of pulverized coal, plastics, ore powder, etc., and has abrasion resistance. SOLUTION: This blast furnace tuyere ring comprises SiC, Si3 N4 and Al2 O3 , as main components in the total content of 90wt.% or more, and in respective contents of 10-35wt.% Si3 N4 , and 3-20% Al2 O3 , the remaining percentage of SiC, and has 800MPa or higher hot bending strength and 7-15% porosity. Furthermore, addition of metallic Si within the range of 5-20wt.% to the above- mentioned composition, and sintering of the composition in N2 atmosphere to raise its strength are preferable, and also it is preferable that the inside surface roughness Rmax of the tuyere ring is 100μm or less.
