PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a cathode ray tube of the image display device from being burnt due to a standby procedure, to suppress an optional remaining high voltage after the display device stops its operation, to avoid an optional excess current from being caused in a line sweep circuit in the case of starting the display device. SOLUTION: The image display device is provided with a resistor 4 and a capacitor 8 being components of an integration circuit. The integration circuit is provided with an input section connecting to a terminal RC used for sending an execution/standby signal and with an output section from which a sequentially fluctuated voltage is carried during transition of the execution/standby signal. The output section is connected to a resistor R2, a capacitor C2, a resistor 6 and a transistor(TR) T0 used to vary a time ratio of a line frequency signal used to control a TR TB as a function of an output voltage. |
