PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition for aqueous adhesion, of one pack type, excellent in water resistance and heat resistance, capable of being applied and allowed to stand, comprising a water dispersion of a polyolefin containing a carboxylic acid neutralized with a basic compound and a water dispersion of a specific polyurethane resin. SOLUTION: This composition comprises (A) a water dispersion containing a carboxylic acid at least partially neutralized with a basic compound and (B) a water dispersion of a sulfonic group-containing polyurethane. The component A is preferably obtained by a method for reacting anα-olefin such as ethylene with a carboxyl group-containing ethylenic unsaturated monomer such as acrylic acid to give a copolymer, neutralizing the copolymer with a basic compound and dispersing the neutralized copolymer into water. The amount of the carboxyl group in the component A neutralized is preferably 20-75%. An alkali metal salt is preferable as the basic compound. The elution ratio of the cured coated film of the component B in tetrahydrofuran is preferably <=25%. The blending ratio of the component A and the component B is preferably (80-20):(20-80) by a solid weight ratio.
