PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject tacky agent containing a specific oil-absorbing pigment at a specific ratio, capable of simply improving blocking resistance without lowering adhesive function and capable of providing a heat-sensitive tacky sheet excellent in printability. SOLUTION: This heat-sensitive tacky agent is obtained by adding (C) oil- absorbing pigment having >=100ml/100g oil absorption amount (based on JIS-K-5101) (preferably calcined caoline, amorphous silica or amorphous silica) in an amount of 0.5-50 solid pts.wt. based on 100 solid pts.wt. component B to a heat-sensitive tacky agent consisting essentially of (A) a thermoplastic resin (e.g. vinyl acetate-ethylene-styrene copolymer) and (B) a solid plasticizer (preferably dihexyl phthalate having 50-100 deg.C melting point). Glass transition temperature of the component A is preferably -10 to 70 deg.C. Average particle diameter of the component B is preferably 1-10μm and average particle diameter of the component C is preferably <=15μm. When the tacky agent is applied onto the substrate, the coating amount is preferably 10-35g/m<2> .
