摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved device which is matched to an engine of this model without using the conventional air mass sensor in the air-fuel ratio controller of a spark ignition engine of gaseous fuel. SOLUTION: This internal combustion engine is equipped with an air passage 20 and a fuel line 30 which are connected to an intake manifold 62 and supply fuel. A fuel controllable valve 40 and a fuel sensor 38 corresponding to a fuel mass flow rate are arranged in the fuel line 30. An engine positioning sensor 65 supplies the rotational speed signal of an engine, an air-fuel mixture temperature sensor 63 supplies a temperature signal in the manifold 62, an air-fuel mixture pressure sensor 64 supplies a pressure signal in the manifold 62, and an exhaust sensor 76 supplies a signal corresponding to an air-fuel ratio in an exhaust passage. A controller 80 decides an air signal corresponding to the air-fuel ratio of air passed through an air passage as the functions of the speed signal, the temperature signal and the pressure signal in response to each sensor and the controllable valve 40. The controller 80 outputs a valve control signal by the air signal, a fuel signal and an exhaust signal so as to operate a fuel control valve actuator 42.
