PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the user to view a stereoscopic image as a front view by sensing the operation with a head position sensor, calculating a congestion angle, turning a universal head and a video camera so as to adjust a vertical deviation thereby displaying an image of an object nearly in the middle of a display panel. SOLUTION: When the user turns its head in horizontal and vertical directions, a head position sensor 54 of a display section 50 senses the operation and provides a signal to a head position processing circuit 42 of a control section 30. The circuit 42 generates Pc, Tc drive signals and gives them to a universal head driver 18 of a universal head via Tc, Pc drivers 43, 44 to drive the universal head 15 in directions Tc, Pc. In this case, a correction circuit 39 generates Pa, Pb drive signals, which are fed to camera drive devices 20A, B, which drive video cameras 11, 13 in the directions of Pa, Pb. Simultaneously they are turned in the directions Ta, b by a vertical deviation signal. Thus, the object image is displayed nearly in the middle of the display panels 52, 53 and a stereoscopic image is viewed as a front view. |
