PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To strengthen a ground function so as not to erroneously transmit a high frequency signal by using, as a ground terminal, a terminal engaging a lead piece formed on a shield. SOLUTION: An electric connector 1 comprises an insulating housing 2, a plurality of terminals 3 connected to the insulating housing 2 and a metallic shield 4. At least one lead piece 9, which is formed in a portion where the shield 4 covers the insulating housing 2, engages at least one of the terminals 3 via the insulating housing 2, so as to be electrically conducted. The terminal 3 serving as a ground terminal is connected to a ground circuit such as a printed board. |
