PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a non-conductive system resume function where the area for resumption is surely secured and also independent of the OS(operating system) file form of a system. SOLUTION: A system is the one fixedly securing the resume area by executing division from the storage area of user data in the disk of HDD(hard disk device) 5 in a computer system providing the non-conductive system resume function utilizing HDD 5. BIOS 4 controls the resume area of HDD 5 as the storage area being exclusive for the non-conductive system resume function by executing exclusion from FAT(file allocation table)-system filt control, for example, by normal OS. Therefore, the resume area where the whole memory contents of the system are surely saved at the time of processing resume is surely secured without depending on OS. |
