PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cover a lower end of an appliance main body with a permeable panel so as to make external appearance more attractive, by improving operability of mounting/demounting while decreasing the number of part items. SOLUTION: In a recessed luminaire having an appliance main body 1 provided with an outer flange 1c in the peripheral end of an opening 1a in a lower surface side and a permeable panel 3 arranged in a side of the opening 1a of the appliance main body 1 to be mounted in a burying hole 7a of a ceiling 7 by bringing the outer flange 1c of the appliance main body 1 into contact with a lower surface of the ceiling 7, a ceiling contact piece 1k, bringing a tip end into contact with a lower surface of the ceiling 7 to make a horizontal surface 1h of the outer flange 1c separate from a lower surface of the ceiling y with a prescribed space apart, is vertically provided in a peripheral end of the outer flange 1c of the equipment main unit 1. A plurality of lock holes 1g of a lock part 1f are provided in the horizontal surface 1h of the outer flange 1c, an engaging protruded piece 3d of an upward protruded engaging part 3c is provided in the vicinity of a peripheral end of the permeable panel 3, the engaging protruded piece 3d is insertion locked to the lock hole 1g, the permeable panel 3 is mounted in the appliance main body 1, also a lower surface side of the opening 1a and the outer flange 1c is covered with the permeable panel 3. |
