PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a music box which produces the tones of plural pieces of music (melodies) according to a program. SOLUTION: Any of plural exothermic parts 6a disposed at a heating element 6 is made to generate heat according to the program P during one rotation of a rotating body 3 of this music box 1. Only the pin 3a1 passing above the heat generating part 6a under heat generation among the plural pins 3a1 disposed on the disk surface 3a of the rotating body 3 is projected upward from the disk surface 3a by the thermal effect of a shape memory alloy. Only the comb-toothed part 9a of a comb-toothed diaphragm 9 corresponding to the projecting pin 3a1 strikes the projecting pin 3a1 and, therefore, the sound is produced. |
