PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated film which is excellent in shaving resistance and easy slipping, blocking resistance, adhesion to a magnetic layer, etc., and suitable as a base material film of a magnetic recording medium. SOLUTION: In a biaxially oriented film wherein a layer A having a polyester A as a main constituent is laminated on at least one side of a layer B having a polyester B as a main constituent, a projection on a surface of the layer A is principally a projection caused by crystallization of the polyester A, and a coating layer (layer C) having a water soluble or water dispersible resin as a main constituent is provided on at least one side of a base material film wherein Rz/Ra being a ratio of surface roughness parameter on the layer A side Rz to Ra is 13 or less. |
