PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent staining of a picture image surface and paper clogging, etc., caused at the time of fitting sheets by making it possible to back discharge the sheets by fine fitting in case of discharging the sheets with picture images formed on them by reversing them back and front. SOLUTION: Sheets with picture images formed on them are loaded on an intermediate tray 21 through a first carrier passage 13. The loaded sheets 3 are back discharged outside through second carrier passages 53, 55 different from the first carrier passage 13 by separately feeding them by a separation part 23. When a preceding sheet is discharged from the intermediate tray 21, a following sheet is discharged to the intermediate tray while finely fitting in a broad space above the intermediate tray. Consequently, staining of the sheets, paper clogging, etc., are prevented. |
