PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make useful in the prevention of momentary breakage by housing a connected part on an individual basis without twisting a tape when the tape core wire is wound and housed within a case and simultaneously to miniaturize a straight type or capsule type closure by enabling the extraction of a tape core wire or single core wire in plural directions. SOLUTION: In this core wire connection surplus length housing case, a case body 4 is equipped with a housing part 2 for a connector for core wire-connecting with which core wires from core wire-introducing and extracting parts 1 are mutually connected and a housing part 3 for core wire surplus length connected to the connector, and a freely fittable and unfittable case cover 5 is arranged in the case body 4. Then, the surplus length process of the connection core wire is safely and surely performed and handling of an optical cable is remarkably simplified by opening and arranging the core wire-introducing and extracting part 1 in the four directions in each corner of the square case body 4, and simultaneously providing the connector housing part 2, which is capable of restraining the connector mutually connecting the core wire introduced in the case, within the case body 4 and freely attachably and detachably arranging a surplus length housing jig 7, which is equipped with a winding reel 6 for winding the core wire surplus length connected with the connector, within the case body 4. |
