<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain reduction of power consumption, acquisition of excellent picture quality and high preciseness of a circuit in a liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: In an unit pixel, a transistor 1 for selecting pixel, a scanning line 2 for selecting the transistor 1 and a signal line 3 supplying a signal for deciding the state of the pixel are respectively connected to a gate and a source. Gates of n-channel type transistor 4 and p-channel type transistor 5 provided with ferroelectric substances are connected to the drain in gate parts. Source sides of the n-channel type transistor 4 and the p-channel type transistor 5 are respectively connected to two wirings 7, 8 and drain sides are connected to each other to enable applying the voltage to a liquid crystal 6.</p> |
