<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding device that is small in size, excellent in appearance and capable of operating smoothly by providing a cam member for which strength is heightened. SOLUTION: A locking device 10 is equipped with a base member 12, a sleeve member 14 connected to the base member 12, and a sliding member 16 housed in the sleeve member 14 and capable of protruding and retreating. The sleeve member 14 has an opening to which a cam mechanism is turnably housed, and a cam member 20 extending from the cam mechanism to a cam opening provided at the sliding member is provided. The locking device 10 has a turning means 22 that is suitable to drive the cam member 20 inside the cam opening for turning the cam mechanism to protrude or retreat the sliding member 16 and also has an urging member enclosed in an urging member for making the sleeve member 14 move against the base member 12 when the sliding member 16 is fastened on a latch. For the locking device 10, the extent of protrusion or retreat is increased for the sliding member 16 and suitableness is provided for holding the cam mechanism in the opening provided at the sleeve member 14 and furthermore the strength is heightened for the cam mechanism.</p> |
