<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically set proper paper feeding pressure and separation pressure meeting a condition of a kind of a sheet of paper, etc., without requiring skill and a sense, accordingly to prevent non-delivery and overlapped delivery in high precision, to prevent wasteful abrasion of a paper feeding roller and a separation pad, to eliminate stopping time of a device in case of causing non-delivery, etc., and to improve cycle efficiency of printing, etc. SOLUTION: A paper feeding roller 20 is provided around a shaft 38 as its fulcrum free to revolve in the vertical direction, and a paper feeding pressure adjustment mechanism 22 to pressurize the paper feeding roller 20 through a paper feeding arm 40 is furnished on an upper part of the paper feeding roller 20. A sheet of paper 18 drawn out by the paper feeding roller 20 is separated into one piece by a separation roller 24 and a separation pad 26 and delivered to a printing part 10. A sheet head end detection sensor 30 and an overlapped delivery detection means 32 are furnished before a regist roller 28 in a paper feeding passage, and in the case when time from a rotation command of the paper feeding roller 20 to detection of the sheet head end detection sensor 30 exceeds a standard value, the paper feeding pressure adjustment mechanism 22 is driven during paper feeding motion by a control means not mentioned in the drawing and paper feeding pressure is increased.</p> |
