摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the coercive force of magnetic layers and to improve the reproduced output at a short wavelength by providing the magnetic layers with the axis of easy magnetization inclined in a direction diagonal with the magnetic layers, forming plural layers of thin films having specific film thickness and specifying the total thickness of the laminated magnetic layers to a specific value. SOLUTION: The magnetic layers consisting of the single phase of a Co-O system are repetitively deposited by evaporation on a nonmagnetic base 2 by a diagonal vapor deposition method, by which the films of the multilayered magnetic layers 12 are formed. These magnetic layers 12 have the axis of easy magnetization inclined in the direction diagonal with the base 2 and are formed by laminating plural layers of the thin films having >=10 to <=50nm layer thickness. The total thickness of the magnetic layers 12 laminated to plural layers is >=λ/5 to <=3λ/5 when the recording wavelength is defined asλ.
