PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely restore time sequence and to restore picture data before division at the time of transmitting picture data through plural lines by division by transmitting only important data by using a master line and transmitting data which is not comparatively important through the use of a slave telephone line. SOLUTION: In the division transmission method of a separation means 13 to the plural telephone lines, frames by which picture data cannot be restored if they lack, namely, an SOI frame being the head marker of an image layer, the frame of a table or the like showing DHT and DQT, an EOI frame being the end marker of an image and an SOF frame being the frame head marker of a frame layer are transmitted by the master line. The respective frames of the other formats are sequentially transmitted by the slave line. At the time of reception, a synthesis means 16 preserves data as far as a picture data buffer permits and matches time sequence. When they overflow, a processing for adopting only important data and for omitting others is executed. |
