PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent rusting of a free piston. SOLUTION: A differential-sensitive type hydraulic coupling device is formed such that a hydraulic pump 24 is driven based on a rotation differenceΔN between a main drive wheel and a driven drive wheel, and through engagement of a clutch 25 by an oil pressure generated thereby, a dive force transmitted to a main drive wheel is properly distributed to a driven wheel. The differential- sensitive type hydraulic coupling device comprises a housing 30 to store working oil fed to the hydraulic pump 24; a free piston 120 slidably contained in the housing 30, closing the working oil to partition an oil chamber 70, and freely moved along with expansion and contraction of the working oil; and a containing chamber 124 communicated with a chamber 121 on the opposite side the oil chamber 70 with the free piston 120 serving as a boundary in the housing 30, and having a communication part with the outside and containing a transmission or a transfer device.
