PWM INVERTER OUTPUT CIRCUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the voltage control error of a motor winding terminal substantially and release the motor winding terminal from a main power supply instantaneously in the output circuit of a PWM inverter which performs the PWM (pulse width modulation) control of the coil voltage of a motor. SOLUTION: A PWM inverter output circuit has an N-type first power device 1 and a P-type second power device 2 whose respective input electrodes and reference electrodes are connected in common, first and second current control means 125 and 126 which control the common input electrodes of the respective power devices 1 and 2 and a bidirectional switching means 220 which is provided between the common input terminals and common reference electrodes of the respective power devices 1 and 2. The output currents of the first and second current control means 125 and 126 are controlled to control the continuity states of the first and second power devices 1 and 2 and the continuities of the first and second power devices 1 and 2 are instantaneously cut off by the bidirectional switching means 220.
