PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication KARAOKE system with which the play of music and the background image display of moving image corresponding to the music can be performed based on KARAOKE data transmitted from a host station. SOLUTION: Concerning this system, respective pieces of 1st-order KARAOKE data preserved at a host station 10 are composed of the data of music software data and moving image selection data for synthesizing a background image software corresponding to the music by arranging moving image softwares selected out of plural moving image softwares in prescribed time sequence. In this case, based on the moving image selection data of the 1st-order KARAOKE data transmitted from the host station 10, the plural moving image softwares recorded in a moving image storage means 23 at KARAOKE terminal equipment 2 are selected and time sequentially arranged, the software of background image corresponding to the music is synthesized, 2nd-order KARAOKE data composed of the data of music software of 1st-order KARAOKE data and the data of this background image software are synthesized, and the 2nd- order KARAOKE data are stored in a 2nd-order KARAOKE data storage means 22 at the KARAOKE terminal equipment 20 and read out as requested. |
